Narrows of the Harpeth is a park in Cheatham county a few miles outside of Nashville. I had read some about it and decided to check it out yesterday. It was a beautiful, cool, cloudless day and I was the only one out there, so it was very quiet. The view was awesome from the bluff. Another trail went around to a tunnel. This tunnel was cut straight through the bluff by Montgomery Bell to use water power to run an iron forge. It was and still is considered to be a great piece of engineering.
